Special Military service exemption (Afv Rahbari)
According to the proposal of the General Staff of the Armed Forces of the Islamic Republic of Iran and the approval of the Supreme Leader, the violations of all the absent of military service subjects are pardoned as follows, and they are issued an exemption card.
This exemption is divided into five groups according to the educational qualification and eligibility age:
1- Sub-diploma, diploma, post-diploma: born until the end of 1354 S.H (1975)
2-Bachelor: born until the end of 1354 S.H (1975)
3- Master's degree: born until the end of 1352 S.H (1973)
4-Non-medical doctorate: born until the end of 1350 S.H (1971)
5-Doctor of medicine and veterinary medicine: born until the end of 1344 S.H (1965)
Note: According to the note of Article 9 of the Executive Regulations regarding military service approved on 11/8/1391, all eligible persons who are over 50 years old, in case the age in the ID card does not change, their original ID card with a photo is considered as a public duty exemption card.
Iranians abroad can refer to the Iranian missions of Iran abroad along their Documents to renew the old completion or exemption Card for military service.
After filling the forms, the relevant documents should be attested as a true copy. As well the power of attorney should be confirmed to any person in Iran (parents do not need a power of attorney) so that the matter can be followed up by attorney along documents and original exemption or exemption card through +10 police centres.
It should also be noted that if the applicant is present in Iran with the original documents, he can personally follow up on +10 by referring to the police centres.
Required Documents:
1- Completing the exemption form
2- Original and copy of national card (back and front)
3- Original Shenasnameh and copy of all pages
4- Six pieces of 4 x 3 photos written on the back (full face, light background, no tie, conventional and usual hair and face)
5- The last educational documents
6- Power of attorney to follow up on conscription matters through the mikhak site (www.mikhak.mfa.ir)
