On 26th Jan 2022, The Islamic Republic of Iran’s National Football Team arrived at Mumbai airport to participate in Asia Cup 2022. Their arrival was warmly welcomed on behalf of His Excellency Mr. A. M. Alikhani Hon. Consul General of the Islamic Republic of Iran by  Deputy Consul General,  Diplomatic officers and other members of the Consulate General of the Islamic Republic of Iran in Mumbai as well as some of the Iranians residing in India. The team is group with India which is the host of the event along with China and Chinese Taipei.   After analyzing the other competitive members, Mrs. Alizadeh coach of the team has expressed hope in great results for Iranian Woman Players. We are confident of the team’s success with the presence of our compatriots and all football lovers in large numbers the venues for the team’s matches.
