Visa Waiver Plan for Indian Nationals

In accordance with the enactment issued by the cabinet of the Islamic Republic of Iran and the announcement by the Ministry of Foreign Affairs, beginning 04/02/2024, the visa waiver plan will be implemented for 28 countries, including India. The details and conditions are outlined as follows:
1- The aforementioned countries are outlined below:
"United Arab Emirates, Kingdom of Bahrain, Kingdom of Saudi Arabia, Government of Qatar, Government of Kuwait, Republic of Uzbekistan, Republic of Kyrgyzstan, Republic of Tunisia, Islamic Republic of Mauritania, United Republic of Tanzania, Republic of Zimbabwe, Republic of Mauritius, Republic of Seychelles, Republic of Indonesia, Brunei Darussalam, The Government of Japan, the Republic of Singapore, the Kingdom of Cambodia, the Socialist Republic of Vietnam, the Federal Republic of Brazil, the Republic of Peru, the Socialist Republic of Cuba, the United States of Mexico, the Republic of Bosnia and Herzegovina, the Republic of Serbia, the Republic of Croatia, the Republic of Belarus and the Republic of India.
- This enactment applies solely to holders of ordinary passports from the said 28 countries, allowing them to enter Iran visa-free once every six months for a non-extendable stay of 15 days, exclusively for tourism purposes.
- Foreign nationals traveling to Iran for purposes other than tourism, or those seeking more frequent and/or longer visits, must obtain visas through Iranian missions abroad.
- This exemption is exclusively applicable to Indian nationals who are traveling to Iran and utilizing the identical visa waiver for their return journey from Iran, specifically through air borders.
