Appointment of H.E. Dr. Davoud Rezaei Eskandari as Acting Consul General of Iran to Mumbai

With great honor and pride we hereby announce the assumption of office by His Excellency Dr. Davoud Rezaei Eskandari as the Acting Consul General of the Islamic Republic of Iran to Mumbai effective February 15 2024. He succeeds the H.E. A.M. Alikhani in this esteemed role.

Bringing with him a wealth of experience and expertise, H.E. Dr. Davoud Rezaei Eskandari has served diligently in various capacities, notably as a senior officer in the Foreign Minister's Office and within the embassies of the Islamic Republic of Iran in Austria and Brazil. Additionally, his tenure in the secretariat of the Economic Cooperation Organization (ECO) further underscores his commitment to fostering international cooperation and diplomacy.

As Acting Consul General, H.E. Dr. Davoud Rezaei Eskandari is poised to further strengthen the bonds of friendship and cooperation between Iran and the States of Maharashtra, Gujarat, and Goa.
