Celebrating the Birth Anniversary of Imam Reza (A.S) in Mumbai May 9 Fotowat Association of Iranians

A spiritually uplifting ceremony was held in Mumbai to mark the blessed birth anniversary of Imam Reza (peace be upon him) with heartfelt participation from Consulate officials cultural organizations the Iranian community and lovers of the Ahl al-Bayt.

The evening began with recitation from the Holy Qur’an, followed by a profound keynote address by Maulana Sayyed Adil Zaidi, who reflected on the Imam’s compassion and narrated a powerful historical episode involving Caliph Harun al-Rashid. He likened Imam Reza’s shrine to a "piece of paradise on earth" and concluded with an Urdu mawludi.

Maulana Naseri offered felicitations and recited the special salawat, speaking of Imam Reza as the "Compassionate Imam" and "Guarantor of the Deer"—urging the audience to embody the Imam’s ethics in daily life.

The event concluded with a heartfelt Persian mawludi by Mr. Mohammadi, enriching the spiritual atmosphere. A night of love, remembrance, and renewed devotion.
