Release of Two Iranian Nationals from Ahmedabad Prison

Through the sustained efforts and close coordination of the Consulate General of the Islamic Republic of Iran in Mumbai, the Embassy of the Islamic Republic of Iran in New Delhi, the Department of Consular and Legal Support of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs, and the Representative Office in Chabahar, two Iranian nationals who had been imprisoned in Ahmedabad, Gujarat, have been released after three years and four months of detention.

Their repatriation to the homeland is scheduled for October 15, 2025.
