About the Muallem Prize

The “Muallem Prize” is an annual, public‑driven international award that recognizes one or more teachers who have made a meaningful and demonstrable impact in educating and nurturing children and young people.

The Prize identifies and highlights outstanding teaching role models who combine educational excellence with developmental and social contributions to their students and communities.

Eligibility of Teachers

- All teachers, instructors and educators working with learners under the age of 18 in schools, educational institutions, learning centers and similar settings are eligible to participate.

- Nominees must have a minimum of five years of teaching experience and should intend to continue teaching for at least the next three years.

- Both full‑time and part‑time teachers from public, private and non‑profit institutions may be nominated, subject to the Prize’s general guidelines.

Who Can Nominate

Colleagues in schools and educational institutions, as well as parents and students, are warmly invited to help identify and introduce dedicated and influential teachers for this international recognition. Self‑nominations by eligible teachers are also welcome in accordance with the Prize procedures.
