Appointment of H.E. Saeid Reza Mosayeb Motlagh as Consul General

The Consulate General of the Islamic Republic of Iran in Mumbai has the honor to announce that His Excellency Saeid Reza Mosayeb Motlagh has formally assumed his duties as Consul General effective 26 November 2025.

H.E. Mosayeb Motlagh brings to this responsibility an extensive record of distinguished service in Iran’s diplomatic missions abroad. His previous appointments include serving as Consul at the Embassy of the Islamic Republic of Iran in Ankara, Consul at the Embassy of the Islamic Republic of Iran in London, and Consul at the Consulate General of the Islamic Republic of Iran in Milan.

As Consul General in Mumbai, H.E. Mosayeb Motlagh is committed to further strengthening and expanding cooperation across all domains of mutual interest, with particular emphasis on economic, trade, and cultural relations between the Islamic Republic of Iran and the States of Maharashtra, Gujarat, and Goa.
