Irans 100th Naval Fleet Docks at Mumbai Port

On 25 February 2025 the 100th naval combat group of the Islamic Republic of Iran Army comprising the Bushehr (a fuel carrier) and Lavan (a drone carrier) docked at Mumbai Port where it was warmly welcomed by the officials from the Iranian Consulate General in Mumbai the National Iranian Oil Company the Islamic Republic of Iran Shipping Lines Iran Air and commanders of the Indian Navy.

The mission of this naval group includes:

• Delivering a message of peace and friendship to the nations bordering the Indian Ocean, the Sea of Oman, and the Persian Gulf;
• Providing training and sharing expertise with students of the Imam Khomeini Naval Academy.

During its stay, the fleet will engage in a series of activities, including high-level meetings between naval commanders of both countries, visits to training, cultural, and historical sites, and friendly sports competitions.

The Iranian delegation also extends its sincere gratitude to the Indian authorities for their invitation and warm hospitality.
