Issuance of shenasnameh for 15 to 18 years

Issuance of shenasnameh for 15 to 18 years

        For all people who have an Iranian father and were born out of Iran, can be requested the Iranian shenasnameh based on paragraph 2 of Article 976 of the Iran Civil Code.

Required Documents:

First, fill application on Mikhak site with father's national number and receive the tracking code. After that, submit the following documents along with the printout of the received tracking code to the consular section.

1- Completing the marriage declaration form (if the marriage is not registered in the Iranian shenasnameh of the parents)

2- Presenting the original birth certificate

3- Presenting the original shenasnameh of parents

4- Residence permit of parents i.e. Visa, OCI

5- 4 passport size photos of the child, without hat, dark glasses (for women with Islamic hijab)

6- The cost of issuing a shenasnameh

Notes:

  •     It is necessary for the child to be present at the Consulate General to take fingerprints.
  •     If the child is born in a country other than India, it is necessary that the original birth certificate has been attested by the embassy of the Islamic Republic of Iran in the country of birth.
