Issuance of Shenasnameh over 18 years old

 

         People whose father is Iranian and who were born out of Iran and who are currently over 18 years old can get an Iranian Shenasnameh. Do the following steps in order:

Log in to the online application registration page through this link in the Mikhak site. Complete the requested information and upload the required documents. At the end receive the tracking code.

Required documents:

  1. Presenting the original birth certificate
  2. Presenting the original Shenasnamehs of parents
  3. Presenting a valid passport of the applicant
  4. Six new full-face passport size, without hats, dark glasses and, for women with Islamic hijab.
  5. Provide a piece of photo of each parent
  6. Two fingerprint cards that are set at the Consulate General.

   Notes:

  The presence of parents along with the applicant is necessary to apply for the issuance of a Shenasnameh at the Consulate General.

  After doing the above process, the documents will be sent to Iran to get the legal permission (which will take at least three months), the Shenasnameh will be issued in the consulate general.
