- visas that need to be applied through Iranian party and after obtaining a Visa Grant Notice for Mumbai and the same should be submitted with original passport and the visa fees to the consulate general for issuance of the paper visa at the address mentioned below.
Note: The visa is not stamped in the passport. Also there is no “entry” or “exit” stamped in the passport at the immigration of Iran.
Travel Insurance Required for Visitors of Iran
This is to inform all travelling to Iran from May 21, 2024 (i.e. 1/3/1403), Iranian travel insurance will be mandatory for visa applicants. The insurance document will be automatically provided by Iran Insurance Company and emailed to you within three hours after the issuance of your visa.
Travel Insurance Rates:
- Single entry, double entry or three months (multiple entries): ₹1,050
- Six months multiple entries: ₹1,260
- One-year multiple entries: ₹1,575
