Revocation of Power of Attorney

Procedures:

In order to revoke the POA, the following steps must be taken:

1- Make a new power of attorney on Mikhak at https://mikhak.mfa.ir as shown under the title "Revocation of POA" and choosing a new attorney (Vakil) to remove the previous POA.

2- The new attorney should refer to any notary public office in Iran to send an officiall letter through the notary office to the previous attorney.

Notes:

•     This procedure is required for all regulatory POAs inside and outside Iran.
•     If the person giving the power of attorney passes away and his/her death is registered with Iranian authorities in Iran or abroad, according to Iran's laws, his/her POA will be considered revoked spontaneously and there is no need to proceed for revocation, but it is necessary to ensure that the death is registered.
